Need an item that says CLOSED STACKS in Educat+?

Historical collections are stored in the basement and must be retrieved for your use by Library staff. You can request paging ("Request from Closed Stacks") for an item via Educat+, once you are signed in with your UNI and password.

You will be notified by email when your material has been retrieved and is available.

Items will be retrieved in one business day.

CLOSED STACKS items cannot be checked out of the library and must be used in the Special Collections Reading Room (Room 104 Russell Hall).

The Reading Room is available by appointment, Mondays through Fridays from 10 AM to 4 PM.

The following materials are stored in the basement and sub-basement:

Children's Fiction, Pre-1994
Curriculum Materials, Pre-1990
Research Resources, Pre-1950
